Update (20/12/11)
The scene in which Marilyn Monroe is known for is from the film The seven year itch (1955)
Marilyn Monroe did product for coke in one film, which was later turned into an advert (1953)
I'm thinking of adding the coca cola symbol to her dress from iconic subway grate scene and also considering adding colouring the dress red.

French Poster These images were taken from Flickr (Update) Just found this image, like how makes reference to aliens and with Marilyn on front cover This image has given me idea of recreating this magazine cover, but adding other elements to it like stereotypical alien of that time. shall have to consider ideas further, i'm playing with idea of having to Marilyn images placed next to each other that feature different pop culture pieces. (Update) just had a cool idea of how to incorporate the different pieces, since its visual studies i want to incorporate hand drawn images with images that i've tweaked from the net. The idea I've just had is to use Life magazine cover above and add bits that i draw by hand. I think if I do it in a sort of cartoon style of that time it could look quite cool.
